When we are out having a good time and saying “yes” to that last shot, when we should be saying “yes” to a glass of water, we know what the outcome will be. Our new best friend for the cure-all is pear juice! Who would have thought that drinking something so delicious, no we aren’t talking about champagne here, could help prevent common hangover symptoms?
Scientists found that if you drink 220mL of Asian pear juice before drinking you will see diminished hangover symptoms the next day! The reason for this phenomenon works so well because pear juice contains enzymes that help speed up your metabolism which then slightly hinders alcohol absorption.
